That the best a skin therapist can do is manage symptoms, or that a person struggling with their skin just has to keep trying things until something sticks.
That refusal has shaped every part of the way Healing Hands works.
Skin and body

Advanced skin therapy and laser, designed for lasting results.
Laser, with Amy

Medical-grade laser for pigmentation, vascular concerns and more.

Healing Hands Skin & Laser’s approach to skin care and root cause acne treatment is grounded in Corneotherapy.
Corneotherapy
The practice of repairing and restoring the skin's natural barrier from within, rather than working against it. Rooted in the belief that healthy skin begins at the surface layer, and that lasting results come from rebuilding what is already there, not stripping it away.
OUR PROCESS
(01) Consultation
An in-depth conversation about your skin, your health history, your lifestyle and your goals. Nothing is recommended until everything is understood.
(02) Deep skin analysis
Using advanced skin analysis tools, Jenna maps what is happening beneath the surface and what is driving your concerns.
(03) Your signature skin program
A structured, personalised plan built around your skin and your timeline, not a treatment menu. A customised journey that adapts as your skin responds.
(04) Continued care
Every appointment is assessed fresh. Jenna makes the call on the day based on what your skin needs.

The Healing Hands Skin & Laser team
Jenna Hazelton came into skin care because she watched people she loved be seriously harmed by a system that treated skin as something to silence rather than understand. Seeing the profound emotional and physical toll that medication-first approaches to acne took on those closest to her made the stakes of skin treatment feel deeply personal before her career had even begun.

18 YEARS OF SKIN LASER EXPERTISE
BRISBANE’S PIGMENTATION SPECIALIST
Amy Carver brings eighteen years of experience to Healing Hands, alongside a deeply personal understanding of what it means to live with a skin concern that resists easy answers. Raised along the beaches of Coffs Harbour, Amy spent years in the sun, and what began as a love of the outdoors gradually evolved into complex pigmentation concerns in her thirties, including melasma.
That personal journey shaped a philosophy grounded in education, honesty and genuinely individualised care, recognising that advanced technology must be carefully tailored rather than universally applied. Amy and Jenna first met in 2017, connecting quickly through a shared commitment to clinical standards and client care that most workplaces could not match. When Jenna came back years later with a vision to reunite, Amy said yes without hesitation.

As a naturopath and iridologist, Jenna’s grandmother deeply understood the body the way most people understand their closest friend: intuitively, patiently and with deep respect for what it was trying to say.
When a client came to her badly burnt in a house fire, she made a moisturiser by hand that helped her heal. That client cross-stitched the "Healing Hands" symbol as a gift of gratitude.
