Two peels, two very different commitments. Here's how I tell them apart.

I offer two different Elaine Brennan peels, and I think it's worth explaining the difference properly, because they really aren't interchangeable.

The GetGlowing Micro-Peel is the gentler of the two. It's designed to refine texture, soften the look of acne scarring and even out skin affected by everyday environmental damage, with a light, manageable exfoliation and very little disruption to your week. I tend to recommend this as a starting point, or for anyone who wants the benefits of peeling without committing to real downtime.

The full Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal Peel is a completely different conversation. This is a deeper, more considered peel, applied over two consecutive days, that genuinely improves texture, pigmentation, acne scarring and visible signs of ageing in a way a lighter peel simply can't. The results keep improving for months afterward as your skin rebuilds its own collagen and elastin.

I won't pretend the Renewal Peel is comfortable to recover from, because it isn't, and I think that honesty matters. After application, your skin will darken, tighten and visibly peel over anywhere from several days to two weeks, depending on your skin and how deep we've gone. It looks dramatic before it looks good. That visible process is actually how the result happens, not a side effect to hide from you.

It's also not for everyone. I won't perform this peel if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, if you've used Accutane in the past six to twelve months, or if you have an active skin infection or certain medical conditions. We'll go through all of that properly before any date is set.
